Hi Lovies!

So last night, as only about half of you know......we had our first mandatory dj meeting. Mostly we went over the correct way to fill out logs, and why its important. We also talked about rotation--please oh please follow the cards so everything gets equal play (we got a complaint from an avid listener (who wasn't me! weird) that said they had heard the same song 3 times in 2 hours. that just ain't right!), we also have completed our staff rotation--play whatever song you want off of whatever cd you pull from the cards, and new hip hop, as well has local! yay! each spot on the cd playlist log has a corresponding rotation.

Then we moved on to fun things!! we are doing our Thanksgiving pot luck again this year, it will be in Ontario Hall, Saturday November 18th, time tba. We will probably do a football game beforehand too. I'll probably make a turkey or two, and we'll have sign ups for what you can bring! YAY!

MARATHON-this will be an overnight dj marathon, complete with live music. If you can play an instrument, we want you!! This will be Friday December 1, starting at 10 after the hockey game.

and finally, We are starting DJ of the MONTH! the award for best dj team went to Joe Cooper and Gabrielle Johnson, 8 am on saturday--perfect attendence, delightful!

DJ of the month is Sarah Wolfsont! She is super awesome and classy on the mic. If we had the chardonnay elite this semester, she would be our guest. all the time. Thursdays 6-8, check her out!!
