Welcome one and all to the grand opening of the official WGSU blog! Now, there are a few reasons we decided to start this thing up this year:

1. To allow more up-to-date posting of WGSU news and events
2. To allow a place for WGSU DJs and friends to come together and share thoughts and ideas

And um... well, that's about it. But what we need is contribution from YOU! Whatever you want to post, whether it's album or concert reviews, just talking about bands you like, or anything really. It doesn't even have to be music related, as long as you feel like sharing it with the WGSU community.

So if you're part of the WGSU family and you want to be involved, follow these handy directions:

1. E-mail me (bhk2@geneseo.edu) with your name/DJ name/etc.
2. I'll send out an invite via e-mail. Follow the link and create an account on Blogger.com - your username can be whatever, it'll ask you to create a display name that'll show up on your posts. This can be either your DJ name or your real name! If it asks you to create a new blog, just make up some random name, you can delete the extra blog later.
3. To post in the blog, just go to Blogger.com and log in. Click on WGSU: the official blog, and under the posts tab, hit Create. Voila! If you want to comment on someone else's post, just click on the comments underneath.
4. You can edit your profile with whatever info you want, too. If you feel comfortable with it, put in your first/last name in your profile - it makes it easier to keep track of who's in the members list.
