positive feedback
Hey all. Today we were doing our show, and the guys at the Post office called. They wanted to say that they listen often and really love our station. They liked our music, and wanted us all to keep up the good work. They were calling to talk about the freaky prehistoric frilly shark, and the blues switch show. If you ever think no one is listening from town, now you know its not true. Most people won't call, but they're there. It made me feel really good about our station, so lets keep doing what we're doing and stay awesome.

A History of WGSU
Random facts I learned while cleaning out a couple of drawers in the WGSU office:

- We used to have live shows 24 hours a day, and most shows were 3 hours long. Some DJs did not get shows and they were on a sub list.

- Things were a lot stricter: at some point DJs had to audition, and I even found a folder of rejected DJ applications. I also found a letter informing a DJ that he has lost his show for missing it once without getting a substitute. He was allowed to apply again for the next semester.

- The shrinking of the Top 22 show: It used to be Top 35 (back when shows were 3 hours long), then it became Top 30. And since we've been here it's been 22, then 12, then nothing.
